About us
This website is run by [YOUR NAME / BUSINESS NAME], trading as Regless, [ADDRESS], Northern Ireland. Email [EMAIL]. [VAT number, if VAT registered]
Using Regless legally
For shows, meets & shoots. Always refit your plate before driving on the road.
UK law requires your number plates to be displayed whenever your vehicle is used on a public road. Regless lets you remove your front plate while the car is parked at shows, meets and photo shoots. You are responsible for refitting your plate before you drive. We are not responsible for fines, penalties or MOT failures caused by driving without a plate.
Ordering
When you place an order through our checkout (provided by Stripe), you will get an email acknowledging it. A contract between us is formed when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. If we can't accept your order, for example if an item is out of stock, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling [and include VAT / we are not VAT registered]. Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order. If a price is clearly wrong, we will contact you before dispatching.
Delivery
We deliver to the UK and Ireland. We aim to dispatch within [X working days]; delivery usually takes [X–X working days UK, X–X Ireland]. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered.
Changing your mind
You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to cancel it for any reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Tell us by email at [EMAIL], then return the items within 14 days of telling us. [You pay the return postage / we provide a returns label].
We will refund the price and standard delivery cost within 14 days of getting the items back (or proof you have sent them). If items have been fitted or used beyond what is needed to check them, for example the adhesive pads have been applied, we may reduce the refund to reflect that.
See also our returns policy.
Faulty items
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected. If an item is faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose, you can reject it for a full refund within 30 days of delivery. After that you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or in some cases a refund. Email [EMAIL] with your order number and a photo of the problem.
Fitting and care
Follow the fitting guide supplied and on our How it works page. Allow the adhesive to bond fully before removing the plate, and check your plate is securely clipped on before every drive. We are not responsible for damage or loss caused by fitting that does not follow our instructions, by modification, or by normal wear.
Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and disputes can be brought in the courts of Northern Ireland. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
